My son did kind of the same thing with millis 12 or 15 years ago. Only it was a year deal. Hang in there. Communicate your feelings to them. Ya know, need more $, or miles ,or whatever. Don't sulk, and be silent. The squeaking wheel gets the grease.

It’s definitely a bad situation, but what have you done to make it better? Are you making on time deliveries? Have you asked for more miles? Are you giving your dispatcher good reasons for treating you right?
I’ve worked for some screwed up outfits over the years, but even in the worst places, some drivers get more work because, without actually being a suck-up, they know how to make it easy for management to treat them better.
If you can improve your situation enough to be able to survive until your contract is up, you’ll be better off. No crippling debt, and a year and a half of experience.stillwurkin, FlaSwampRat, 70’Nova and 1 other person Thank this. -

The big problem with Vehira is their freight lanes are in the Northeast and usually no further south than South Carolina or Georgia.
I only know of one long haul division and it's in Las Vegas doing entertainment hauling for singers & entertainment gigs at concerts, etc. all over the USA.Last edited: Sep 2, 2019
stillwurkin and Horus Thank this. -
Words of wisdom for sure, thank you. Yeah I told them to set me up with 2500-3000 miles a week but they got me running homedaily and regional routes. I’m trying to be patient as you mentioned and just get the experience under my belt at least. Thanks70’Nova and stillwurkin Thank this.

Don't think he knew. But 18 months..not a lifetime of servitude. No experience. I still say, pull up the big boy panties and get those 18 months behind you. See it through.starmac, FlaSwampRat, 70’Nova and 2 others Thank this.

I went in 2011 I believe it was, spent 30 days there in paris and marseille but didn’t make it to Rouge for whatever reason. I passed all the tests but they chose not to graduate me. Some people in my class that also got denied were allowed to try again after one year but they told me never to return.Chinatown Thanks this.
