I probably did. And then a few others of that low horse. I just didnt know enough at that young age in that time period.
Anyhow.
One company in GBurg was really intense in their time to be go go go and the 350 I was issued would fall down at 45 and tall gearing forcing a down shift on some of the little uphills on 15 north towards H'Burg. It's always disgusted me how much time and fuel is burnt trying to stay at 55.
I finally got ahold of a 500+ detriot with a short rockwell 9 that wont quit until 116 plus. (fuel pump cut off, then it becomes momentum to 132 or so) I went to town with it. Just listening to that thing warm up in the mawning cranking on the power as it improved in the temp was motivating back then.
