I’m bored out of my mind sitting at the house. This hurricane wasn’t even nothing lol. Good thing is we can go back to work tomorrow. Instead of going to our normal meet with a team from Dallas we will be going all the way to Dallas this time and back so that’s good.

So the Carolinas are getting pelted now with the rain and storm surge. Those in Dorian's path are closed currently as far as I know and we've been asked to step up maybe at the chance to be there for our sister yards next week if needed. It goes on seniority, but I threw my name up there to volunteer to go if its needed to help them get back up to speed.

@Texas_hwy_287 my week was ok. Only worked two days but it was a long two days. Thursday we got sent to Dallas with a set of Mt’s. Not a wise decision but I’m just a driver. Our A/C went out so we had to swap out trucks in New Orleans. Can’t drive or sleep without A/C so we got that taken care of. Then we get to DAL and our set was real heavy and I got an overweight gross ticket by 3,360lbs. Company had to pay that up. Then had to go to Mobile to get lead trailer worked on to get that weight off and build the set again and back on the road. So short week but very busy. Next week will be a normal schedule hopefully. I signed up for volunteer work so hoping I get a phone call. I love making extra money. And being that it’s linehaul which is just drop and hook easy money

I'm gonna take a stab at the answer.

    Pascagoula/Moss Point scales, going EB.

Coming out of Dallas, Texas DOT scales are hit-and-miss if they are open (usually miss, with the little that I've run out there in the past 14 years). Louisiana scales coming out of TX are most likely still under construction, got green-lighted at Vicksburg, then ran down US 49 and got red-lighted at Moss Point.

If he ran down I-49 from Shreveport, he got green-lighted at EB Hammond and Diamondhead scales.

I don't know how Florida scales are on pulling doubles, but pulling a single 53', I never worry, once I get past Moss Point, going east. No Alabama scales and FL allows a lot more than 34k on a set of tandems, as long as the bridge is correct.
