    Madera ca at the pilot.
Stopped at lathrop terminal to see if I can tcall. They said no loads to trade.
He said planner said I can deliver early as long as it's the 3rd.
So came here. Will end up getting a reset.
While sitting at terminal for my 30 break to finish, TRUCK on my right a coue empty spots over rocked pretty good.
A driver pulled thru and right side of his trailer smacked that guys.
Stepped out to make sure he didn't hit mine.
Had a freaking guy sitting in the passenger seat and the guy still hit that trailer. Didn't speak to drive so don't know if they are team or a new driver.
When they dropped the trailer and left I walked over to see the damage.
Must have hit trailer pretty flush cause was only a few scrapes on corner of door hinge.
Don't think he damaged his truck.
Anyways.... need to pay attn to your right corner when you pull thru a spot.
They had empty trailers parked in the isleway being trailers so was a bit tight to drive thru.
I didnt attempt it but backed in

At home near Phoenix, been here since Tuesday afternoon and my truck is sitting at the Edwardsville terminal.

I got a call from my wife last Monday telling me that she was at an ER with my teenage son. I was on 54 in southern KS on my way to Romeoville, IL. I called my DM and told her that I needed to t-call my load @ Edwardsville and head home ASAP. To her credit I had a t-call and a load home on my QualCom in less than 5 minutes. Then my wife called back to tell me that my son had a pulmonary embolism and that they needed to operate on him within the hour. I ended up t-calling my load @ Edwardsville, caught a ride to the airport, and was at the hospital by Tuesday afternoon.

Looks like my son will get to come home tomorrow and I'll fly back to KC Tuesday to pick up my truck.

Vegas. Had a legal load I pick up monday and delivered today. Tommorow morning im gonna grab an overweight, running at about 110gross. No word on size, im assuming its probably over length and width because those loads usually are, but we get too find out if shorty (midroof)can pull the hills.

Ill let you know if we kill a freightliner, all three of us be running up the mountains.

Delivered those rolls of paper to gp in Madera this morning.
Drove back to truck stop and sent a Mac 30 and called dl at same time.
Got a load that picked up in riverbank ca tomorrow morning and delivers to city of industry the next morning.
Do said to hold off and see if anything better comes up.
Got a clue of loads that I didn't care for. One picking up at 10pm and and the other an overnite.
Got tired of waiting and did another Mac 30 with the same load on it
    So accepted it
Drove over to the t/a In Livingston to be a little closer to shipper. About 30 miles

    FerrissWheel Thanks this.

I had a pplan that picked up in ID and t-called in Albuquerque, until a planner called me to see if I would swap loads with another driver.
The original load has a destination of El Paso and this driver needed to get down there for home time.

To replace it I will pick up a paper load in Twin Falls and deliver it in Lewiston tomorrow, then pick up there with a load going to IL.
Pretty sweet. Another 500 miles this week and a 1800 mile load for the first part of next week.

    dptrucker and FerrissWheel Thank this.

After 10 nights in 2 different hospitals looks like my son will finally come home tomorrow. I'm headed back to Edwardsville tomorrow afternoon and will run hard for several weeks to dig out of the hole I'm in.

Better to run just a bit above average for a few weeks, as opposed to running hard for that time.
Don't want you burning yourself out and making mistakes due to fatigue.
