You don’t know how much I truly appreciate that!!! To be honest, I’ve had another truck in the works for a while, time to go it now lol....... not going to say what it is or where it is, but I think you will greatly appreciate it, especially when I’m done lol.

 

I sure wasn’t even expecting this, but it happens. All we can do is keep going and not give up lol.....

Sorry to see that old schooler. I put a ball valve in my turbo oil feed and a section of rubber in the drainpipe when i rebuilt my 466. I dont know id have the nerve during a runaway but the idea was shut the ball valve and cut the rubber part of the drainline with pocket knife if she gets goin. I keep a basketball in that truck to plug the air cleaner housing and buy some time if it happens.

 

Dam Jim I sure hate to hear that! At least you know what to do with it..I'd hate to see that bill if you were mechanically challenged! Good luck man.

 

My biggest fear. Runaway engine. I'm considering a posi-air on my Cat once its together for just that reason.

 

Can't wait to see what's up your sleeve. You didn't finagle your way into an old Monfort Amodel did ya?

My fear would be loosing work and contracts while down. I suspect the people you haul for will be glad when you're back in the game!

 

What's a posi-air Amodel?
