Yes on 79, first time I needed those triangles lol.....

 

@OLDSKOOLERnWV , that sucks. I had that happen on a 3406b several years ago,ruined the crank on mine.

 

By the time I got back around to the drivers door it was full tilt boogie, ever bit of 3000 rpms if not more. If not going for a moonshot I may have been able to save it, but not like that.

 

Yes I imagine the crank is a mailbox post now lol..... just hoping I can salvage the block for a future build.
