Yeah. But it notified YOU. Because you're the Original Poster. Not any others who might have been quoted by you previously.
And you're already here, so I didn't summon you.cke, ShooterK2, exhausted379 and 10 others Thank this. -
I've heard it can happen fairly often in the oilfield and when dealing with petrochemicals (why Paul's trucks were required to have them).
If there is a high concentration of combustibles in the air, the motor will suck them up, and usually because it's gasoline that vapourizes at regular air temps, take it and run wild.BigCam9670, cke, ShooterK2 and 11 others Thank this. -
Suppose you 2 are going to institute this before to longcke, ShooterK2, exhausted379 and 12 others Thank this.

A guy I used to haul cows for put a Borg Warner 171702 on a series 60 500. It blew the turbo and leaked oil into the air to air. The mechanic swapped the turbo and didn’t clean out the cooler. The first time he hit the throttle it took off. Everyone ran and it blew water about 30 feet high.
He had to get the motor rebuilt, and considering the way he screwed over people all the time, that $16,000 bill couldn’t have happened to a better person.BigCam9670, cke, dwells40 and 22 others Thank this. -
Somebody has been pulling your leg at the lunch counter.
That's profit. They do NOT allow the product ( hydrocarbons ) to vaporize like that.
And even if they did, if it had enough hydrocarbons in the air to ignite in an engine, it would have killed the people breathing it. Knocked them out at least.BigCam9670, cke, ShooterK2 and 9 others Thank this.
