I've seen a lot of news coverage of US agencies rushing to the Bahamas to help with search and rescue. One of the officials with the state dept. said the US was going to rush to get airports and ports open to help with the recovery.
I think this is only fair as the Bahamas are so close off the coast of Florida.
But have not heard one report of British efforts to help in their own territories. Maybe we don't see these mentioned as the news coverage has been from US sources.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
