Hi all,
Have a 2013 Cascadia, couple of days ago I had to replace the truck batteries, replaced and thought all was well. Not so. I have no fault codes or at least none that I can read through the display. But, my high beams don't work, wipers and washers don't work. My turn signals don't work if I put the stalk switch in the high beam position. Also the blue high beam indicator will not light up either. Everything else seems to be OK. Any help would be appreciated. FYI, I did try to crank the truck several times before deciding that I had to replace the batteries and the amber CEL was on at that time. After replacing the batteries the light cleared on its own.
Cascadia electrical nightmare

Check the fuse box under the hood on the firewall. I believe that's the one that run all the lights and stuff. You try turning the power cut off switch on the floor by drivers seat. That would reset the computers.

Thanks Brandt for the reply. Any fuse or relay in particular?

turn battery connect switch off. disconnect positive wires from batteries. wait 5 min. connect positive wires back. turn on battery connect switch. if problem is not gone go to dealer. if you have diagosticlink software I can help you to diagnose your problem.

I had a turn signal stop working that were the fuse for all the outside light were. The SAM controller is for all the outside stuff I believe. Lights maybe wipers. I don't remember if it had a fuse diagram on the cover once you pop it open. It a little computer basically for all the outside lights. They are know for blowing the fuse when guys plug in trailer pigtail and have the light turned on. Driver look at fues box in the cab but that only for the cab light and stuff. On these new truck they separated them. I believe the one on the firewall under the hood controls all the outside and trailer light and maybe the wiper motor.Dave_in_AZ, bzinger and MRKEN Thank this.

Your suggestions are done. Still same results. Disconnected stalk switch and the control with the hazard light switch on it. Reconnected with power on. Turned kill switch off an on now everything works. My main AC did not go off when I shut the truck off. I had to turn the knob to off. I think that subcon may be bad. Your thoughts.

could be. Diagnosticlink software is needed to see how inputs and outputs are functioning ...
bzinger Thanks this.
