Guess I shouldn’t complain that I’m going on hour 4 here at my first receiver of the day. Have another appt at 2 pm. Lumpers............

 

I was at Owens in Waco, TX the other day for 12 hours. Some of these places are ridiculous.

 

Two words... spare key

 

Approaching hour 6. Only good to come out of this is final is 35 minutes from home. Clock or no clock I know where I will be sleeping tonight.

 

Yeah I'd thought about just unhooking my door key from my belt and giving it to them but I figure they probably have somebody come out and check periodically to make sure we Aren't cheating.

 

Ugh. What kind of multi-drop crap do they have you doing that uses lumpers?

 

Just tell them you'll unhook your trailer screw sitting in a hot ### truck waiting

 

Quit running them off. I mean you are the 1 common denominator of the 3...... lol

 

I'd disconnect and pull forward a few feet. What are they gonna say? "Your well-being is not our problem."

 

Whee! So it took them 3 hours to unload me. Not a super long unload time but long enough to have me banging on my 14 by the time I pulled out. Get a reload. Menards load going from Plano to Holiday City. Cool, I can knock this one out today and take my 10 out front and probably go to Trenton in the morning. Get to Plano, load ain't ready. So they send me to Milwaukee for my 8th consecutive beer-related load. I'm tired, and I feel nasty from sitting in a hot truck for 3 hours. So eff that beer load. I'll grab it in the morning. I'm at the Oak Creek Love's where a much needed shower and some food await me.
