I keep forgetting to ask this. Went down into Grand Forks, ND a couple months back on I29. One thing I noticed was the overpasses had no height signs on them that I could see. Are all Interstates like that? I noticed the exit signs all corresponded with the nearest mile marker as well. I like that.

    Thanks @wore out

I was in 4th grade. They did an excellent job of not telling us. We didnt find out till we got home.

My mother was the secretary at the middle schoo . She watched the second one hit.

I miss 9/12 America for sure. We werent white black yellow or purple. We just were Americans.

Alot of states dont put height signs unless its around 15 feet or less clearance that I've seen. Texas I know runs signs up to like 20.

And yes exit numbers correspond with mile markers. Hence exit 1A 1B they are within a mile of each other and not always in alphabetical order which I still dont get that one.

I'm not even sure how they number our exits and Range/TWP roads out here. Seems to me that we have height signs on pretty much every overhead structure though.

I've been told for the longest time California didnt number their exits. At all.

9 / 11..... I had moved a load of drilling equipment into location for a job in Owensboro, Kentucky the day before. The morning of the attack I was setting finishing my breakfast before heading over to unload. Watching the live news on the tv as the events slowly unfolded, made time feel as though it was standing still and all we could do was hold our breath. Sorry if I’m rough as a rasp but that’s just who I am!!
