Its not written but that's the max weight this truck can be registered for, I suppose the difference would be from a towed trailer? Not sure tbh, but licensed GVW can be higher than manufacturer's rating
How much can I haul?

You sir will have your own thoughts. Im not your opponent and nothing bad will happen. I just stand by the door jamb saying whatever it can take is what you put on it.
That does not mean I don't overload. I have in the past. Even if you just took a single axle 12K in the front and a single axle for around 17K you are maxed out gross at 29K minus empty weight with driver.
This cat can be skinned any number of ways. One of which is the goal to stay below the 26001 pounds. -

Tag on the door jamb is irrelevant...?? That’s the first place a dot officer will look when you get pulled over..... seen it happen.AModelCat, ZVar and Cattleman84 Thank this. -
So I guess I could have loaded my old F550 to 26,000 lbs too? I mean Ford engineered it for 19,500 lbs but that's irrelevant, right?
