I can't afford any tuition plus I have a record so it's been hard. Swift didn't want me so someone said no one will... is that true? I want to be a good driver and a success.

Well your 'someone' is incorrect. IMHO, I'd check out CFI .. they have training and are a bit less stringent. Not sure if WEL has in'house training these days, however.

There's also PAM / via Driver Solutions. (not overstepping ya, China... just what I've gleaned).

I like this part of your post. Remember, that is your goal. Whoever you drive for, keep the same goal.

    Luck in battle.

Well, don't worry too much about being a great driver because that takes years of experience. Just don't hit anything and keep the door closed and they will love you.

Keep us posted; I need my 4 hour 'nap' before my 0200. Ya got this. Let us know how the 'vetting' goes tomorrow. I'd lean with CFI first. :)

Having a criminal/felony record won't stop you from getting started in a trucking career.
The state of SC might even pay for cdl school through the WIOA Program.
Google : WIOA Program South Carolina

Also, for trucking company cdl schools, it's better to submit the online application from their websites before calling. They'll probably call you first.
