I got in and got out of trucking a couple of times. You may be remembering the best parts of trucking and comparing them to the worst parts of a "normal job". Look for a better job. Only then should you go back behind the wheel. Or stay where you're at while searching for a primo driving job. A bad driving job will feel like a prison term. Hold out for a great driving job.
Should I go back to trucking? Should I be worried about recession?

if you want to live in the truck and live on the road you may well be recession proof.

Still, when talking about recession one should consider the tech bubble. I don’t really see all the hype as sustainable.silinus vers Thanks this. -
That and as much as I wanted to get into it, look at how many of the younger generation are learning it in high school. How can anyone in their 30s or older compete with them??
I forsee alot of people getting replaced in the coding field in the next several years. Where as who the heck wants to drive a truck. Loldwells40 Thanks this. -
Agreed, unless you have people that depend on you (children) it isn't worth being miserable.

Yeah you shouldn't even think about trucking. The recession is LITERALLY around the corner. Probably be next Thursday.
if we all worried about that stuff, nothing would get done. Y2k? 12/12/12?
