House Almost Got A Drive Thru

I keep hearing Garth brooks (papa loved mama) song when I see this stuff

 

They’re suppose to put mortar under the bathtub so the floor of the tub isn’t squishy.

 

there is a special magnetic force in Indiana.

all homes built before 2000 were infused with this special magnet.

all homes built after 2001, are now lead-coated to interrupt the magnetic resonance.

this might happen a few more times until the last of the old homes are destroyed, and only newer homes are standing....

 

I would have my home three feet thick rebar'ed walls of concrete anytime a big rig hits it it will make a thump and a few minutes on the broom to sweep the mess.

 

My house has a better chance of getting hit by an airplane than a semi

 

If you cause that much damage, you may as well start walking..........even if injured

 

Back in the 80's a driver had a heart attack and doming into Madisonville Tx from the west there is a curve in town. He straightened the curve out and went right on through a house.
It was just before daylight and the black man that lived there went out a window and ran 1 1/2 miles before folks got him stopped, he was butt naked.
The heart attack killed that driver iirc.

 

I drive that curve 4 times per week. It's not particularly difficult. I always wondered if that house was in danger if someone was not paying attention. No one was home but the lady who rented has to quickly find something.

 

wow. imagine somebody would be sleeping in that part of house....scary.
