Samiches turned out good....new sauce has the best vinegar heat sweet that I've found.

Been some talk about shops.....here's my experience today.

Have a muffler that's leaking..... Right outside my window
Texted the little gal from peterbilt that just got off maternity leave that's been asking if I need anything....

Yep...two M100463's and two 45's......need any clamps...nope

Get a call from the inside guy..... Don't stock those mufflers....put in a stock order coming from PA.... Be middle of next week. I HAVE A HOLE IN MY MUFFLER....next week ain't gonna work.

Sent a message to my old salesman that moved to cr.... Nope don't stock them sorry.

I called a shop 10 minutes from the first shop.....yep one in stock.... Speedee have the other at your house Tuesday.

Costumer service..... Nobody understands customer service. Drive across town and pickup the part I need....up charge and deliver it to me. Now mama has to go get it between the the interviews she is doing tomorrow.....

Guess what's getting added to the stock list.... And I'll probably never use them.

Odometer isn't correct but when I get home tomorrow it should be 3-4 miles from 2 million

 

I see that all the time. Some random part for an oddball machine: Yep, got 12 in stock. A part that commonly fails on a machine model we see every week: none in stock, 3 days away.

WTF?

 

Well I picked up my race number and timing chip this afternoon. Even came with a swag bag and a new shirt! Then I picked up some bluetooth headphones. See if some speed metal will speed up my pace any this year.

This may not interest any of you, but I found it interesting. It's a bit long, but educational. The arrows have the tendency to deflect off the armor. The V at the top of the armor does a really good job at stopping the arrows from deflecting towards the head and neck. I learned something new.

 

I may have missed it, but why did you leave the other car hauling outfit?

 

That's pretty cool! I shoot a 40# draw recurve quite often. I like the authenticity of the recurve but wish now I had gotten a 50# or 60# draw. Shot my buddy's compound and that was pretty neat. A little on the expensive side though.
