I don't get the gripe. My check come from Western and I'm not #####ing. Schneider fired me...only they didn't LOL...not on the record at least. So I was here before I knew I had more options. 40cpm in a 2020 Intertrashional autoshift for less than a year of securement experience, running about 2k miles a week, about right for my age and physical ability while I toughen up. I absolutely love the flatbed gig I just don't know if I'm tough enough to survive the winter. So I'll work it thru the winter and when I jump in the spring I'll know if I should look at more flatbed jobs or maybe try something new...maybe tanker or....?
work is effort. thats why you get paid for it. when you see a truck with no inverter or APU you swing thru a grocery. NEVER hit the road with zero water and granola bars minimum fer chrissakes... and you being military. step up to the plate people...
