I have received a conditional job offer from Schneider for a dedicated route.

Upon further research, there is a lot of negative reviews of Schneider. Is, this a driver issue or company issue? I know people mostly post negative reviews while people who are satisfied rarely post reviews.

I guess, I'm looking for honest first hand opinions about the company from drivers that actually work for them.

Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

I'd rather not say anything and look dumb than to speak and remove all doubt.

Schneider will train you well. All companies have their level of BS. Find a company that has the level of BS you can put up with.
As a new driver the job is what you make of it. Train well. Gain your experience. Then look for other opportunities. Schneider is not a bad place to start. There are much worse places to start.

    ^^^ this.

what are your goals. short term, medium term and long term. You will have to eat a little bit of #### sandwich where ever you go, so how much are you willing to eat to service those goals? Does SNI seem to offer you what you need to meet said goals? I found for me at the beginning they did. Nothing was ever promised me that didnt come to pass. Most everything they told me would happen , did in fact happen. There was no bait and switch for me.

They treated me right for the just shy of 5 years I was there. I did my best to be safe and deliver their freight on time and intact. I believe it was mutually beneficial to the end when I decided to move on and change sides of the industry. Now I work LTL and am home everyday making great money. SNI set me up to do just that. And if I were to ever want to come back to SNI , I can and likely would if the circumstances were right and they could meet the next set of goals.

And I see you are looking at dedicated side. of course I dont know about all accounts, just the ones I worked BUT the group behind the scenes for support and the like were great and were of far better service to the driver than was support for OTR.

Trucking will be what you make of it. SNI is a fine place to start.

Well, although I still consider myself a rookie, I’ve been solo for about 7 months with a smaller company. I keep hearing, “it’s a good company to start with” as if that the only good thing about them.

I guess I am window shopping so to speak. The dedicated route would start and end about 20 miles closer to home than where I am at now so that’s a plus.

The idea of going to the same place/same route etc appeals to me as well and there is about a .10 cpm raise and 100% no touch. But according to the recruiter the miles just a few shy of what I am getting but they aren’t real sure about miles as it’s a new account (camping world)

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me but my biggest concern is the company's reputation towards drivers I suppose.

Yea, I’ve combed through them and see that most say “it’s a great place to start” but not much info for “experienced” drivers.
The dedicated account I’m looking at is a new account for Camping World out of Franklin, KY.
    Thanks for the input.

Pay is lower than a lot of other companies I see. I have only been driving 2 months regional and my checks are a little over 700. Most likely because I still suck. Trucks are pretty slow and they are sticklers about over speed. Meaning don't go max speed 63mph, unless to pass and don't let speedometer hit 68mph down hill. The convenience of the company is top notch with the easy to use app and a plethora of #s to call and dbls to assist if you are ever in a jam or have a question and drop yards all over. I rarely wait for loads.
