Need a 2nd chance

No its a tune where the German Sailors would play on the outbound ships. The link goes to a 60's era American performance in english and switches to german for the last two verses. There is nothing bad in it at all. Thats one of the reasons it stuck in the mind.



Now if you wanted a tune that was pretty raucous and risque for drinking etc then Lil Marlene would be it. I have been dabbling in music tunes for a while and this one would be not safe to post here or anywhere. However even the modern German Anthem celebrates good drinks and fine women. =)

For those of you too young to know what it is to love someone or be loved, you will find this a little bit sappy. But your time will evolve someday.

 

Man, I used to play that at the VFW on the Mini Concertina, with a pal of mine, when I had my local refuse route... MEMORIES.. just wow. Thanks for that.

I bust my arsk to keep my CDL clean and clear.... always have, always will. You are correct.

 

When we are successful out here, we can buy toys. I aspire to one. That's my counterpoint.
