I've got a 2016 freightliner cascadia, the horn wouldn't stop going off randomly so I pulled the fuse, now my dash isn't lighting up. The accelerator isn't working either and gauges arent responding. How do I fix this?

Did you put the fuse back in?
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
When I do the ###### horn goes off again. So I have it out right now. Do you think that'll fix the dash? What could be the issue with the horn?

That’s what was wrong when my horn started blowing , lights flashing, plus wipers going full blast.. That’s when I found out most cascadias have a improperly installed windshield and water leaks into the computers and fuse area. 1 tow and 7,000 dollars later I was fixed

Makes sense, my windshield has been leaking

Usual culprit is "clock spring" mounted under steering wheel first. Unfortunately must be done with laptop.

Find the horn, apply a side cutters to the ground wire, put the fuse back in and keep on driving, that's how I'd fix it.86mechanic and mhyn Thank this.

I had similar situation. After rain horn started with windshield washer . I pulled connector from horn. Washer pump worked long and died. I put plastic piece on sam cab module and rerouted wires that come from id lights of roof. I made them to go lower of module then rise up. plus I cut some insulation and water now go strait down. no way to stop the leak but its possible to make water flow changes )))
