    Or many other amenities. No air ride seat, now there is all kinds of extra wide bottom, lumbar support,ball sack massage, no wait ,not that feature yet. Power steering, heaters that will roast you out at - degrees. Air ride, even on the cab itself. To mention a few..how did the old timers do it? Lol.

    We didn't know any different. I knew of drivers that would sit on a boat trailer inner tube, or wire the seat adjust open for back and forth. Tube bias ply tires, spring ride, 220 hp motors, air wipers, no air dryers, good old days, indeed!

    Yeah you're right, I should've told him screw it and drive it without the fan working. Engines are cheap to replace...

    My first truck was a 1984 AM General. Spring ride, solid mount cab. Butterfly hood. All metal interior, drove it in Iraq. Let's talk back problems!
