Split break question again...sorry

    All I did today was drive. (And pre/post etc)

    Took my 30-min break.

    I'm in Sleeper with 3:11 to drive, and 3:32 on duty.

    8 hour break will be up at 2330. What drive time will I get back?

    Thanks. It's been one of those loads, I need to know if I can still make the appt.

    I've had that same dilemma. Set your alarm to end of 8 hours. Peek at elog. Not enough hours? Go back to bed!

    You'll have 3.11 drive time. 3.32 on duty time. You want get any more time back until 2 hours off. 8 hours sleeper only stops your clock.

    Thanks, Tyler. That's what I thought, but I don't split break often and I was unsure if I understood the split break rule correctly.

    Now I can sleep peacefully, knowing that there's no need to be an "8-hour hero".

    Already called dispatch with the bad news!
