Dude don't feel bad. I hired a driver with a million plus miles under his belt and he was at some place in Indiana where they used wheel locks to lock in the trailer to the dock. He thought he was clear to go, he had a green light and tried to move but it wasn't going anywhere, so instead of getting out and seeing what the problem was he put it into low gear and just gave a very hard yank. He got loose alright, he ripped the trailer suspension apart, and cost a lot of money to get it fixed.

2nd day was all good. Picked up in Warren, PA dropped off in Cleveland. Have a load going to Middletown, OH tomorrow 8a.m delivery.

Dispatch keeping me within 200mi. while I get into the swing of things. Said they'll let me spread my wings next week. Looking forward to it. I've driven a whole 11 only once with trainer. CLE to WV and back. I did well. Only needed one red bull.

Don't want to get hooked on energy drinks though. Anyone know some alternatives?

You will build up your stamina as you go on. When i started driving it was very tough for me to say get loaded get tarped and then drive 500 miles. Nowadays its just another day. Theres somedays i have stamina to drive 24 hours straight and other days im hitting the wall at 5 or 6 hours. I dont do no energy drinks. I drink coffee in the morning but its really just starter fluid for the brain . the only way to stay awake is to get good sleep

    Do not do energy anything.

A little coffee in the mawning with a pitcher of house tea. I don't know if they still sell those overdose yellow vitamins in a clear bagette at the cashier but grab one of those, eat it with food. Leave off the alfalfa one unless you want to pee green.)

Eat a quality meal slow. No stress, no dispatchers no brats, no louts no nothing. Just you, beach and seagulls. Oh wait...

Try 5 hr Energy. Husband uses it and it does not jack you up, it doesn't have ginseng in it like some of the energy drinks do that may give you the shakes.. Get it at a Sam's Club if you can, it is a lot cheaper. He only drinks coffee, doesn't drink soda's, but does mix up his big 64 oz cup with ice, about half diet green tea, a slosh of cranberry/grape juice and fillup with water: or once in awhile he uses diet peach tea.

If the dock light was green then they should have unhooked the trailer from the dock and this is not on you.
NEVER pull out of a dock until the light is green.
