Looking for feedback on what wireless mobile printers/scanners everyone is using in their truck these days. We currently have an HP Officejet 250 which isn't working anymore after just under 2 years of usage. Trying to determine which route to go. All positive and negative comments on printers is welcome. Thank you!

The best solution i've found for in-cab use are the Brother PocketJet thermal printers. Zero consumables except paper, extremely small footprint and low power draw. No ink or print nozzles to dry up in the hot summer months, minimal amount of moving parts to break or fail. Direct, bluetooth or wifi printing.

They are not cheap but will pay for themselves on what you save on ink/toner.

If I had to recommend a scanner it would be the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100i or S1300i depending on portability needs.

Sorry I should have mentioned, the use case in my scenario is specifically for printing permits and shipping docs which do not require high-resolution or color printing. If it's just for documents, then yes the PocketJet is the best solution IMO.

I don’t know what model, but I finally got fed up with HP because the nozzles kept drying out. Bought a Cannon instead. It has lasted 4 years so far.

I use HP 3752. I dont know if it is "best", but it does the job. Andat only 50 bucks or so at Walmart, I wont cry when I have to replace it. Ive had it since last Christmas. And its still working fine. I do take it home when I go home in the winter. Ive heard you should not let them freeze.

I've had an HP 1401 all-in-one for over a decade. Let me tell you I wanted to put this thing under my drive tires and crush it more times than I can count. It came to a point, when it would just print or scan without giving me grief it would put me in the best mood for days. Every time I had to use it, I would feel anxiety building in me, waiting for something to go wrong.

Finally today I just had enough of it and the useless HP support people.

I'm in the market for a printer, scanner, copier that works flawless. No walmart junk. Wireless too. I will look into Cousin Vinny's links as I like what he says about them.

Does anyone make modern all-in-one printer/scanner/copier these days that is reliable, wireless and efficient? Or will I need to buy separate units?

I do have a great tip for those with ink cartridges. I found I had less issues when I brought the printer home with me in the hot or cold weather. It was a pain but, worth it for the slight reliability advantage it offered.

We purchased a HP OfficeJet 5255 all in one printer (printer/scanner/copier) in October 2018. So far so good. Works well for the driver. We'll see how long this one lasts.

I used an hp printer scanner. The entire 7 years otr. When I had problems. It was time for a new cord. It had wireless capabilities. It was bought 10 years ago. From Walmart. I've been local the last 3 1/2 years.

As for the ink. I only bought black. And took just the ink home. During winter.
