I what you are calling a tipper is one of the ramps they stand your rig up with to dump it out the back, then yes they can and do do that with walking floors in some places. It is faster than walking it out.

Virtually anything that can be hauled in a van can be hauled in a walking floor, and if you throw a tarp down under the front two pallets, you can walk the load back to where a forklift can get it where there is no dock.

Our trailers have a second landing gear for use on the tipper
The second gear is over the platform while the first one is not
Some trailers have one set of landing gear and we don't dump them
Sometimes we can't crank the second gear down and they dump just fine but I don't make a habit of it
WE ALWAYS DUMP THE AIRBAGS WHEN DUMPING OUR LIVE FLOORS
