Hello All. Reviving this if anyone is current with them. Just talked with them, out here in Des Moines the pay is 24 bucks an hour. Five days a week, overnights. Same scenario, day cab, 53 foot trailer, lift gate and electric jack. Start as a relief driver. Guaranteed 50 hrs a week. Kind of like linehaul, you could be running out to Missouri or KC, Omaha etc, hitting up a couple stores and coming back. Sounds interesting but no overtime, no union and it sounds like they basically push your E Log to the max daily. Could be working 13 hours a day easily. Upgrade in pay is based on a few things including MPG??? All in all could be pretty decent money but maybe too hectic and you are basically a vampire. Any thoughts?
