    This is a good example of how bad lease deals are. Based on your settlement you posted, you took home .54cpm. Your making the same rate a company driver will make at most places and you bear all the risk. Not only that, but out of that 54cpm you have to pay yourself a wage and you have self employment tax to take out of that. Your actual net pay, after taxes is only in the .40s cpm. Please stop taking these deals. The only person making money is the carrier. By the time this deal is done, you’ll have no profits, and you won’t own the truck, they’ll simply lock you into a new lease, and keep your compensation at such a low level.
