I made a big deal when I got hit... I know it happens, but when they try to deny and brush it off like it was nothing, it really got to me.
Now, would you guys bill for an hour of shop time or just let it go?
Zeviander, blairandgretchen, Feedman and 20 others Thank this. -
NUCOR provided some Steel Straps in place of the usual Plastic Straps in the Chaise Lounge

I would like to think I’m a pretty decent guy, that being said..... I tell them forklift flunkies first thing, HEY! This trailer, this belongs to me, not some random company, please stay off my curtain track it’s just soft aluminum! And I’m not mean about it, just firm.
As I have said before, just because you can start the machine does not mean your an operator!Zeviander, blairandgretchen, Feedman and 24 others Thank this. -
It really was an accident - he did a great job loading me, and I even gave him a cold Gatorade. But I was over about 2500# and they had to pull and rearrange. If it wasn't the way he and they reacted "there's dents like that all the way down the other side" uh, no there isn't. Or the girl waddling out to look at it "eh I'd just let it go". Sure you would tootsie, if I ran a shopping cart into your new Caddy, I'm sure you'd just let it go too huh?Zeviander, blairandgretchen, tony97905 and 20 others Thank this.

Wonder if the tattoo guy used a harpoon to put the ink on her.Zeviander, Feedman, Westbound23 and 13 others Thank this. -
If they were sincere, I would just straighten it out. If they are pricks, they will get a repair bill.
If the hit it, I get out my bumper that fits in the stake pockets. I call it the kiddy bumper and will move it everytime. Kinda degrades the motor driver in front of their co-workers.
The first thing I do is inform them it is my 23 year old trailer. And if they hit it there will be problems. Every motor driver.Zeviander, blairandgretchen, Feedman and 19 others Thank this. -
Depends on their attitude. Cases like that, attitude is everything.Zeviander, blairandgretchen, Feedman and 17 others Thank this.
