Thank you for all who responded to my worry about team driving with my partner. He works for Central. I am still confused though how this all works. Many of you said that he has a bad FM. I was told that the planners tell the FM who to give the loads to, and that FM have nothing to do with whether or not you got a load. Their job is only to keep track of you once the planners give you a load. The more I researched the company and the lease/owner option, the more worried for him I got.

are these fourms here to help people considering central? or is it your guys private chat room? as i browse page to page all i see is usless nonsense that just shows the idiotaic mentality that it takes to make a career at central. Iam sadened to find so meny fellow drivers that have bought in to the scam, that is central, only info i can give is get your cdl, 6 months as a company driver. then get out to a real company. DO NOT drink the koolaid like the rest of the sheep and do the fleece-program, it will be career/ financial suicide.

If you don't like Central then post about it in the Bad trucking company section on the Forum!!!!

If you would like information all you have to do is ask!

Yes we do chat about our day in here if you have a problem with that then your more then welcome to start your own thread!

I am sure that if you post in the bad trucking company section, and list the problems you had you would be more credible.

I personally know a few people who do OK on the Lease, others who lasted three weeks and you don't have a payment for the first two weeks.

We can only talk about how we do as L/O's.

Too Sad Too Bad - many of us like this thread. As a noob, it provides a lot of insight. And every question I have asked has been answered several times over! So enjoy and welcome aboard - if you use it in the spirit of the thread - or go find some place that you feel is better.

JJ - I wish I would have paid attention as to when you where in Denver, I would of loved to meet you and get some more insight. Perhaps next time.

I take it you all had a good 4th - and I expect several of you enjoyed the beverages too much, as there is only a few pages of posting - what up with that LOL

    Spoken like a true supertrucker.

While I agree with you on the lease deal, I must disagree with your attitude driver. You are the reason why I tend to hang with people that are at least a few years older then myself. Your first post you come in here acting like you know everything there is to know & disrespecting everyone in here who depicts there day to day lives of working for Central. Find one post from anyone on here telling anther poster how great the lease is & how they should do it, every time someone has asked about they were given the true info from people that are leasing from the company & told that the lease IS NOT for everybody.

Central is not the best & the lease is garbage if you ask me, but I don't disrespect anyone that was, is or wants to do it.

Thank you for stopping by & reminding me why I hate 99% of people my own age. Now don't let the door hit your *** on the way out.

    Bye-bye now :smt006

I parked it at the Pilot in North Little rock, AR last night to get a shower & something to eat. Well after a few hours of being on the computer I start hearing the rain, pulled the curtain back & it looked like I was in a hurricane. Power went out about 5 min. later when lighting struck a pole across the street by the Petro... It was one of the more interesting 4ths I have had & way better then being stuck in West valley like last year.

Should of, but Sunday was planned. If I was more on the ball, I would have changed the plans - we can do it next time!

LOL - I was trying to be nice - but felt the same way.

The rain is nice - even with it coming down in sheets. But I hate driving in rain, give me snow or ice any day of the week. Don't know about that in a rig, but definitely in my car!
