No, we stayed put.
All 3 of us were headed different directions trying to silence the alarm, open doors and windows and get air moving through. Nobody thought or bothered to pick up the phone and call it in as a false alarm.

I put some on here before. Non on this phone. But I'll get you some. Just aluminum angle, with some welded on to fit in 2 stake pockets. Works well. Not gonna stop a big coil slamming into the side.Zeviander, blairandgretchen, Westbound23 and 14 others Thank this. -
Partials can be good paying or they can be a good PIA. For me, partialing out of California or Florida was the only way I could get out of those states with a decent rate most of the time. Partials take a lot of time. Sometimes they are worth it, most times not. CHR has become famous for having a 38,000 lb load taking 38' of deck space and calling it a partial. Pisses me off, but someone takes it. I loaded one joint of pipe in Joliet, Il going to Columbia SC weighing maybe 150 lbs for a little over $2 when rates were around $1.50. Took up a little over 30'. I stopped at a truck stop and a guy told me I should have found something to go with it. I asked him why I would want to do that. He said I left some money on the table, and I told him I left a lot more money in my tanks. Some people stare at a dime and let a dollar walk right passed them. I guess I'm sounding like 1x. Mine is a true story though.Zeviander, blairandgretchen, Westbound23 and 20 others Thank this.
