Really smart of him, but you hear of stuff like this because they are running around on a suspended license. Lucky he didn't kill anyone. But, maybe he will learn some history about Dillinger since he was locked up in the Crown Point Jail also.
FlaSwampRat, rachi and mjd4277 Thank this. -
If 140 is all he did then that is a little disappointing. About 13 years ago some kid did 142 in a 55 zone along US-30 near Valpo(Valparaiso). The Porter County Sheriffs didn’t arrest him but they did notify his parents who immediately put his car up for sale (a Subaru WRX). His reason for the speed-he was running late getting home from work and he was worried about getting in trouble with his parents for violating his curfew!
And then more recently someone got nailed close to 186 on the ITR running a Hellcat Challenger!NavigatorWife, D.Tibbitt and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
I got pulled over three years ago on the PA turnpike doing 167 in a 60. Only got a 90 in a 60 because the police were surprised I stopped. I was up visiting Ohio in the winter in my 800hp 2wd ram and kinda didn't think about snow. I was trying to outrun a snow storm because I knew I would be ####ed if I got caught in it (which I did because of said traffic stop and had to sleep in the truck on the shoulder for a day and a half). I had my phone on speaker in the cup holder with my wife on the line thinking I would be going to jail. She wasn't happy, I'm 1400 miles from home and going to jail....lol. after the cop got done screaming at me(which I totally deserved) he was just more impressed with the truck and wanted to know how lol. Still got a new job after that so that's why I laugh when guys on here tell new guys that they can't get a job with any tickets.
baha, NavigatorWife and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
