I need to read up on that whole ordeal....the inlaws sold show steers to a family in VA for years and I remember them saying they have no love for WV.

I saw his apology, and it just pissed me off that people are so twat waffles that a simple costume gets them all buggered up.

Too many posts to catch up. I went to check on my folks and got volunteered for a project. Dad's had this '39 nearly 10 yrs now and he's been bugged with an annoying squeak coming from the back. Upon inspection, there's missing body to frame bushings and bolts. Needed to get the rumble seat back out of the way.

Typical case of solving 1 problem and finding 10 more things to fix. He's had a shop doing work on this twice and I know both times they had it out. Whoever put it together last time needs their teeth knocked down their throat. Missing hardware. Loose hardware that should have been tacked in place. Just a mess. It's a wonder it wasn't worse than it was. The seat back came out ok, so now he can replace the two missing bolts, get the bushings in place and tighten it up. We cracked the code on breaking down the seat back hinges, so he might be able to get it back in himself.

This is the other end. Garage was shut, so was too close for a better shot. Fluorescent lights don't do it justice. That color is the metallic black found on late model Cadillacs.
