I just wanted to double-check before I put the new yoke on the input shaft on my front rear.

The orientation of the input yoke to the output yoke one should be horizontal and one should be vertical.

This is the correct way to orient them?

Of Course..But make sure they are EXACT,for balance issues,Exact spline when you put yoke on in perpendicular orientation.

And if you removed the Slip yoke, carrier bearing and dropped the whole shaft- I hope you marked everything- Just a slight offset will throw you into a huge vibration

Actually everything just came back from the driveline shop. Everything is balanced and marked and I have everything new carrier bearing U-joints everything.

I just wanted to make sure there isn't some way to orient that that will throw me out of balance.

Yolk goes on the spline on the input shaft any way you like. No orientation for that.

Yep. Just put the yoke on the diff and call it a day. The input and output yokes on the front diff will never stay in the same orientation. They aren't on a solid thru-shaft, there's an interaxle differential between the 2 yokes.

As ^ he said. Those yokes are connected through a differential, it doesn't matter how it's installed. They can turn at different speeds.
