I checked two wires one is red + the other is ground n have no power

Maybe the pilot light went out.
Sometimes it is something simple, but if you don't know the system well enough it might be beyond you. -

The reason I asked about the truck running or key turned ON is I have the same unit.
For safety reasons the truck cuts all power to the bunk heater when you turn the truck the key on.. the heater only gets power when the key is turned offMidlife Trucker Thanks this. -

On a truck I drove for a job a few years ago, the relay failed that turned the unit off when the ignition was turned on. I started the truck and noticed that the heater was still running. Maybe your unit thinks that the truck is on.
