Multiple sightings of ‘enormous’ shark made on Tampa Bay beaches
I have seen plenty of sharks and this one looks fake s hell. It could be real because I wasn't there and didn't see it myself but three feet of fun sticking out of five foot deep water? Most of the sharks here that you see in that close are black tips and I've never seen on that big. Hammerheads get big and are around but never seen one with a fun that big.
Does this look fake to anyone else?

You boys down in Florida got a leg up on us Northerners.......
We don't know anything bout Sharks, Gators,Big Snakes and whatever other creatures you guys grow down there....
He11,If I ever spotted a gator close to me- I'd Run like there's no tomorrowbuddyd157, slim shady and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
With that much dorsal sticking out, there would be a visible tail fin as well. There would be a hell of a shadow as well. That’s doodoo fake.
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Gators are usually pretty calm and nothing to worry about if you aren't in the water with them.

That's what I was thinking too.

Could likely be a great hammerhead. I know they feed on black tips which are common down there. That has to be a big one..probably 15 plus ft long by the size of that dorsal..they have bigger than usual dorsal fins. Seems like that would be tough to pull off as a hoax with some kind of underwater drone, too many people around that would see you getting it out of the water and multiple witnesses.
mhyn, 70’Nova and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
That makes sense. The fin on that thing is huge and if they feed on black tips there would be no shortage of food because from what I've seen fishing they seem to be plentiful here in the bay area.

We've had an alligator (chance the snapper) in one of the lagoons. Lol
And sharks up the Mississippi as far as IlFlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Yea I was also wondering why there was no tailfin but their dorsal sticks pretty high up..not completely convinced but possible
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Pretty much the whole of southern USA is off limits to me. I'll gladly deal with mountain lions and grizzlies over sharks, gators, snakes, etc.
mhyn, FlaSwampRat and stayinback Thank this.
