Does this mean all the drivers are "guaranteed" a certain amount of hours of work for the day?
What determines if drivers are "on call" or getting overtime for not driving? -
archangelic peon Thanks this.

If you are hired on when terminal is red circle, (like the ones I NE hiring at top rate) do you keep that rate even if terminal becomes a non red circle before you actually top out your 4yr progression/you transfer to a non red circle terminal?
Does red circle automatically mean top rate or could it be any of the rates higher then standard contract starting wage?
Sidenote - what is the "seniority" wage progression listed in between starting rate & 1yr rate?
Apologies for so many questions, have an interview with UPSF (along with FxF & Air Products) next week & want to be prepared with some of the lesser known (to me) things. -

Note: i'm not real clear on all this myself, but i need to learn (will confer with steward asap):
1) Not necessarily--- a lot of drivers only want 8-9-10 hours and they're done for the day. REally depends on terminal/luck etc.
2) Not sure
3) not sure
4) not sure.archangelic peon Thanks this. -
On the red circle questions, I haven't read the contract front to back but in the compensation area, it doesn't seem to answer my issues so far. -
