I guess so. I don't ever remember him working, he was always retired as far back as I can remember and I'm 41.

I had to replace a popoff valve right behind the blower because someone before me got it plugged that bad. I have no idea how they managed to get product so far forward of the pods on the trailer, but they did. How did they manage to get product upstream to the blower ? :confused:o_O IDK.
It was also elevated a couple of feet above the discharge pipe.

I can't figure it out. They said he was transferring guar gum powder. Melted the heat plug on his blower. Something tells me he knew even less about pneumatic trailers than me and that's not much.

Some people panic and open the product valves wide open instead of shutting them off. Rather than get help they keep trying something, anything and keep making it worse.

Panic probably had a hand in the situation.

Especially if the storage container is elevated above the trailer when it gets plugged, then there can be several hundred pounds of product trying to fall downhill from gravity and there's not much you can do without dumping product. The real good experienced hands can manage to suction the lines but the ones who know how to do that won't get it clogged that bad in the first place.
    Which you already know.
    Sorry. I'll quit rambling now.
