I know I'm an idiot but I have a DUI/DWAI question

    Don't know about a 21 year old dui and how it follows you. But think it still is..anything over the speed limit 15 mph is considered reckless driving. The name change thing..well..thats different. But would not call yourself an idiot. If you wised up enough to know alcohol is your weakness, then stay off of it..no touch. Make good , wise choices. Good luck.

    There is a way to do it after 5 years, so yes he could. I don't know the particulars, but I think it just takes money. lol

    Depending on whee in Colorado you are (hope you didn't move there for the weed) there are some big farms that would be glad to have a cdl holder and actually pay pretty decent too, some even have bennies and furnish housing.

    This was all in my personal vehicles. I have never had a CDL before. The speeding ticket was less than 20 days ago. I was late for an appointment to get my cdl schooling paid for. Reckless driving is apparently 25 MPH over here and I was at 17. It is a serious violation though. Since it was in a personal vehicle the regulations say the state won't sanction me here for the first one. Not sure about potential employers though.

    The speeding ticket is less than a month ago. I mailed in the fine today (it will drop from 4 points to 2). I changed my name when I moved across the country to make it harder for some um... family members who tend to cause me trouble to find me LOL. My Colorado mvr was clean until this speeding ticket but it does have my old name on it so they will likely have very little trouble finding my old MVR if they care to try.

    Western Express might hire you. This company gives many drivers a 2nd chance.
    The DUI's are so old they may not factor in. Some companies don't want any in a lifetime and some cut some slack for old ones.

    Uh yeah the DWAI is not a DWI. You can get one using cold medicine actually. I won't lie I had a couple beers but I was under the legal limit. Thanks for the help
