I have a serious question.....


With the popularity of pre eld trucks these days what's the chances that someone with an 00-01 model truck with a 12.7 or n14 or 3406 or whatever getting a replacement data plate that's got a different serial and pre eld manufacture date?

Slim? More common than you might think? Next to impossible to get a replacement?

 

Hell mines bipolar. It says 370/435. Some days I think its 370 other days i think its 435.

 

JD is salivating at that picture I'll bet.

 

Cat will give you a set of engine stickers for free. You have to provide an ECM printout that's less than 7 days old.

Now I'm not suggesting that a guy with an '04 KW would borrow a friend's Peterbilt and go get such a printout to send in, and I'm not suggesting that he would tell Cat that the engine was being repainted and that was the need for the new stickers. No sir, I don't know who would do something like that.

 

I like the way "someone" doesn't do things!

Reckon what kind of rivets hold the one on an n14 in place? Ya know asking for a friend.

 

Oh I like it. Looks sinister. Very unusual. From really pale to really dark. And all shades between.
