Keep looking at those CAT parts on my kitchen counter and I'm just itching to get that dang 3406 blowing some smoke.

Made Teslin, YT. Pink Mountain to Fort Nelson was a breeze once I came down off the "mountain" lol. I guess I was parked at a higher elevation up there. Not 5 minutes after starting, the grass was green and it was raining.
Fort Nelson to Watson Lake is easily my favourite drive of all time. From the mountain passes of Stone Mountain provincial park to Muncho Lake and its serene glory, I can say with much confidence that I highly doubt I'll ever see a more scenic drive.
Went so high the air got thin and made it more challenging to breathe just driving. And I don't smoke. 200km of "changing road conditions" and by the time I got through it all, I realized that if it's chain season, you need to run the whole thing chains on (unless there was another chain on/off area I forgot). 80km/h speed limit and some twisties down to 40km/h.
But my gods the views!
I'll come back any time they want to send me up here so long as it's after April 30th and before October 1st. I don't think I could have come through at a better time of year. The contrast of the orange deciduous trees with the bright dark green coniferous trees and the epic mountains rising into the sky, at times it literally felt like I was in another world. -

Over seasoning really can make a meal disappointing.
My lunch today was a crispy buffalo chicken sandwich, and I also got an order of Cajun penne pasta with alligator sausage.
Sandwich was 10/10. (Despite the BLOO CHEZ dressing on it)
The pasta was a disappointment because it was over seasoned to the point where the 'gator sausage didn't taste like anything but spices.
