straight ELD mode!

oh yeah, I had that happen 2 weeks ago and it was 0300....coffee hadn't even been 'first sipped yet' and I was getting ticked off about them. NOW I see what they was doing. haha

yeah....maybe I should do that! We all got that message today about once done with 'trip' to 'log out'...so maybe THAT'S the 'key? I called and checked with a safety manager, to make sure everything I'm reading is making sense to what I'm doing...and was told that drivers were B****ing like mad over it. They are working to see if they can 'relieve' some 'issues' with the 5mph going up to 10mph, but it's going to take some time. I was told, on duty, yard move, can ONLY be used at a customer(ship/rec) and private property ONLY. NOW, with that being said, I didn't want to argue with them and say, a truckstop IS private property(which it is, example PA has NO IDLE LAWS, cops can't enforce it at truckstops because, they are....ding,ding PRIVATE PROPERTY)! They said I'd have to do pre-trip(7 minutes now) then go to fuel lane and get fuel when starting...and even said, 'It really sucks for you, I understand doing everything together to start your day, but this is how they (logging company, forgot the name) are telling us how to do it.
