It’s not a scam. It can be serious for some people.

One question in particular to look out for...

Do you feel better after taking a short nap in the afternoon? To cheat the test, the answer is no

Sorry to say this, you need to work on your comprehension skillls, so don't get mad.

Here is the opening paragraph of that little misleading article.

The key words are bold, and is very very important to understand what it really means.

Remember when someone has sleep apnea they don't actually wake up, open their eye usually. Their brain is never going into REM sleep because your brain knows your not breathing. So it's up all night trying to keep you alive an breathing.

People think they are sleeping but their brain is up all night running a marathon trying to keep them alive. That's why someone new to CPAP kinda has to force themselves to wear the mask and learn to sleep again.

That supports my belief that a cpap is a piece of overrated trash.

They said I had some rem sleep. My apnea is mild just barely enough to fail the sleep study. I been using cpap almost 2 years. I'm wearing it now. 2 hours & 40 more minutes then I'll take it off & sleep.

I fail to see in any study where this supposed sleep apnea will cause a heart attack.
    It won’t.
They also use high BP and ED as a side effect of having sleep apnea, yet I can’t find any report anywhere that shows me a patient using a CPAP that now has their BP and ED corrected.
Insomnia is listed as another side effect as well as morning headaches.
The sooner you realize that CPAP is only listed on DOT physicals only because of political “donors”, the better off you’ll be.
BTW, we all die, nobody escapes..

2 years and still not really sleeping good. Sound like they just forget about you. Do you feel like you can't breath even when awake with the mask on or not getting enough air. Is the air to cold or dry so it not comfortable. Is the face mask leaking or not comfortable.

I might be able to answer some of these questions. The Hart attack, try holding your breath for 10 or 15 minutes and see how your Hart feels or reacts. You probably put a little strain on your hart as your dieing from not breathing. I'm not a doctor but not having enough oxygen in you blood can't be good for your Hart since we would be dead without it. Also they say when you not breathing at night you brain will try waking up.

To try and wake someone up the brain starts to have you body pump adrenaline. Because it trying to save you life, and wake you up. That were the crazy or scary dreams come from. Your basically having nightmare of a dream. It finally really wakes you up and you wake up kinda sweating some because of the crazy dream you just had. You hart is probably racing from this crazy dream. They usually are not good dreams. Do that every night for years is probably no so good on you hart and body

You might need more air pressure if you feel like not getting enough air. If your air pressure is already high like 15 or 20 it's possible you can't push the air back out of you lungs. Because your lungs have to push against the CPAP. That's were the next level in CPAP comes in. A BiPAP machine can lower the air pressure your lungs have to push against to breath out a BiPAP has two pressure setting.

Did they even give you a prescription with your pressure setting? They have have gave you a automatic CPAP. They are supposed to self adjust pressure on every breath but if the CPAP is not a good one or old model machine. It might not do a very good job. Then you won't sleep with it just like you are not after 2 years
