    Crystal Distribution of Waterloo, IA posted a conspicuous sign in the check in area advising they'd no longer accept that kind of check, credit card or cash only, $45 washout fee, no paid lumpers.


    I prefer cash to pay anyway, but some places won't allow that (Super Valu/Jewell in Melrose Park, IL for one), but they will accept the checks they can verify, or a card to pay with.
