I may be pushing 29 but dang does it catch me off guard when I get refered to as "sir" or something. Like today I needed to get around a mom and her kid in an aisle at the store. She moved her kid out of the way and said to him "come over here, that man needs to get by!" Took a second to realize she was talking about me.

 

Ladd 1 is the most used channel north of Ft. Nelson.
I made some good contacts and am hoping to run up there steady this winter after the crops are off.
My bunk doesn't have any heat at all. Just what you get out of the dash. I carry a spare fan motor/ resistor and hoses but want a whole separate heat source. No room for a Apu. And I don't want to rely on battery electricity. So the plan is to mount a little box on the frame with a propane tank for emergencies.

Well let see. The kind that can go into a sale barn at midnight with poor lighting, find the load card and the cows that are pinned. Get them loaded, arrive the next morning or early afternoon to parts unknown.
Get them unloaded, point it towards the next one.

Lay down for a little while, sometimes get up and help em sort. Stop somewhere quick for a snack and head west again til it cools off. Then maybe take another short nap and get them delivered. Smooth shifting, low rpms until you get on up to the last couple. Thinking about each one that drops comes out of pocket. Doing it as a lifestyle and not just a job. That’s off top of my head.

 

@shogun ,that's my 16 yr old batting. Been playing travel ball since she was 7. Her team is playing up in 18u this year. This is in the championship game this weekend.
