It's essentially 8 inches snipped off the cab back from bumper front to back of cab. Thats all it is.

Those vehicles date after the Centuries we ran back then and are pretty much all used up and tossed into the scrap yard just like freightliner made of plastic usually has happen to them after a few years abuse in a fleet.

It's you bumper to back of cab length in inches. Think day cab when you measure. A Columbia 112 has an 8" shorter hood than a 120. Look in your glove box. It should tell you what the the measurement is..

You may think I am crazy but the first gen Columbia's were build way better than the glider Columbia's, glider Coronado's, the new Cascadia, and the kw T700, and Pete 579.

Not necessarily. My line stopped at the Century, the Columbias and so on were next replacements. And I think volvo was advertising card tables inside the sleeper. (Ugh....)

My issue is that they can never leave well enough alone. Start stamping steel and cut diamond interiors and leave it be for 30 productive years instead of the current throwaway plastic.

On a 120" bbc truck, your hood will be roughly 60" long. Take 8" out of that, and the hood appears significantly shorter. As the hood narrows and drops from the cowl, all that will appear more extreme than in a standard length hood, plus it will have less of the fender on the hood.
