$150 is a joke. Think of it this way...even at $50/hr after two hrs $150 still only pays 5 hrs waiting time. $400 - $500 MINIMUM for a full day of lost revenue. If they don't pay that head on out of there and meet your other commitment because you're going backwards.

I'm stuck at a days inn in Lexington Sc with a load of furniture for the remodeling. they are trying to unload the truck by hand and only got 3/4 in 8hrs. I'm hitting them for 6 hrs (35pr hr) detention and 350 layover. Had to call my next broker and delay my pickup time a few hours which pushes arrival for delivery up. So it's a chain reaction.

It is brother........Unfortunately in "Freight" Shippers and buyers just aren't forkin' it over- We can Bill them significant charges all day long- But they'll be ignored more times than not- Even contract freight, Carriers turned down due to high demurrage/detention rates within their contract.....Just too many to pick from that won't Bill those kinds of numbers..Its really sad.

In "Freight"... Carriers don't hold the purse strings anymore- Not always the broker lying.....

Don't ever come over to this side Rank. Stay doing what your doing.
