Yes, well, almost...you can buy them uncooked in the cooler section. Way better than the precooked ones they sell near the bread.

Many moons ago, I worked on ranches and this particular one around Barnhart the rancher had a big tent that housed the Mexican workers. He did it to make the Border Patrol's job a little harder. My son was about 3 or 4 at the time and I took him with me nearly every day unless we were horseback. Most days I went and picked the guys up and when my son was with me they gave him a small stack of fresh tortillas to munch on and he ate every one of them. They never gave me sh.t and neither did my son. Point to this diatribe, nothing better than a fresh homemade tortilla.

My grandma used to make tortillas on an old cast iron wood stove down in southern Colorado. Nobody in the family has ever been able to recreate them....some are close but it's not the same. Must have something to do with the stove. That old house is crumbling around that old stove now.

Iliiopolis, Illinois loading wheat for Nebraska. Unload reload same place then head up to South Dakota. Unload reload same place back to Land of Lincoln. Not a bad turn pays good. :confused3:
