Opinions on GREATWIDE TRUCKLOAD MANAGEMENT

Lol dat is the move we run a lot of power only when we don’t have any we run broker loads ask your dm for the agent that have power only

 

I am in the process of leasing on greatwide as owner op. I have my own truck already. But i have only worked thru dispatchers for loads so forgive my ignorance but i am trying to learn about how agents and brokers work with this company. Any help would be much appreciated

 

Well you can make money here yes, Some of the agents here have their own customer, most of them hunt for loads on the broad, with that said you would be looking for loads your self, you can use a agent to do the same, if you are a citizen and have a clean background, ask them for the government agent number, you would be in good hands with them, know don’t you tell corporate you want to be on central dispatch, on central you are a free of any agent controlling your truck-you, if you have open deck experience that is the best way to make the most money right know here, we whose seeing 3$ plus per mile no more, as most people is aware rates are down, I must be true to the game and tell you 100%, I have been here over 3 years plus, it’s not the best time to come here, and I am not saying you could not make money here, I am saying that if you are any one don’t have money to hold down your responsibility at home are for repairs you will get in trouble very quick, and I am telling you this because a lot of guys used there last and get a truck with hope of a check tomorrow, you are going to have to learn the company as to which agent have their own and which is full of you know what, they will give you a list of agents, if you have hazmat and tankers, there is agent that runs paint is rates is not bad, the government said rates are very very good, but it’s not consistent, Robby is ok Aron is ok Lori is so so at best, right now I am doing step deck, as I say open is we’re the money at right now because of the market, hopefully I could help,

 

I just started with greatwide last week seems to be doable so far.i have a couple of discrepancies that was different from what I was told by Recruiter and dispatcher or maybe I heard them wrong??? But the pay is 75% plus fsc on all loads . Can only get 25$ a day cash advance. You have to get your own load board subscription to select loads ,but I think that greatwide have a load board for free. They do have decent fuel discounts at a large variety of fuel stops. Trailer 180$ week .paydays are Thursday 1 week in the hold no 24hr pay.

 

You have two options on fuel card, one give you 40% and the one you have is daily card, the 40% is nice put at the end of the week your check will not look very good, getting your own broad is better to me, if you have vented van you can get with mike Todd. you should get the van agent list, some of the better agents like Aron - robbi - brandy just a few and Lari they have some good things going on, Lari as pumpkin drop on hook mostly, I personally don’t think it makes since but to each it’s own, in the coming weeks we should be getting some nice Power only that should pay better than pumpkin loads, welcome to the madness,

I would guess but you live in that area you should have a good idea what is there, I am not been rude but when I lived in Florida I had a good idea what is in my area, you should be able to get out of there with hazmat if you have it, that would open you up for more loads,

 

Can u make good money with these people I hear and read alot hearing different stuff

 

Great shark that’s how it feels since evan took over us, they want a cut off just about everything, right now the only thing they are not taking a cut off is tarp are driver unload, give them a little while they will figure out a way to get it,
