I don't care where something's made so long as it's made well and will last 10-20 years with little more than oil changes, tires and brakes. I'm not brand loyal, I'm reliability loyal (which is funny when all you guys crap on Ford, despite them building some of the more reliable cars and trucks out of the big three in the past 5-7 years).

Like I said, gas mileage isn't a concern if I'm buying a pickup, it's going to suck regardless of what truck I buy. If I'm buying a pickup it's got to be solidly built, do what I ask of it and last forever. There aren't many new vehicles built like that anymore, even Toyotas (the new Supra got recalled already, but it's technically a BMW).

 

Also @Lysdexis Toyota just announced a partnership with Mazda to open a new combined factory in Alabama, yet GM is closing them down to save money and maximize profits. How American of them.

GM’s biggest is the UAW. The UAW would keep all the lifeboats tied to the Titanic because oarsman wasn’t in any of the crewmen’s job description.

 

Got a reman rocker in to replace the one I robbed off my buddies engine....think I'm gonna have to get 5 more after lookin at it. It has more lron around the screw ( smaller screw ). Dont know if that is better but I like it.
