Congrats Scooter on getting back to work. Hope you got that "C" beat now.
If you ever do that run that tours ND on drop offs. Check with me. I get up to the Oil Fields alot.
Was at Halliburton in Williston last night. Finished delivery at 3am. And they say that Reefer is the only one picking up/delivering at night.
I'm thinking maybe God is looking over me. This is seriously better for me than OTR. Making better money too. I'll always miss many there. A great company. Say hi to Kayleigh for me.

Hit again by another vehicle. This time driver side. Side swiped by a 2019 Silverado doing at least 20. At first she took responsibility saying it was cause her tire... a few wreckers showed up before the state trooper and she told them it was my fault. She told the trooper I came into her lane also. No one stopped to offer help as a witness despite it being a parking lot. Things got shady real quick. Dash cam paid for itself already. The gorgeous blonde trooper and I watched the cam footage right there on the spot. Guess I even get "breakdown" pay for the time it shut me down. People see a big truck and think "lottery!" Not today!

 

Lady in ND spun out hit semi & killed her 2 kids. Trooper cleared driver & truck maintained ok. She came across road & hit him. She has a law suit against him & company for 10 mil.

 

Reminds me of the werner law suit. I finally get it when older people say they don't understand it anymore. So many horrible drivers out there.

 

First week back went very well. Picked up from Wahpeton ND after orientation, headed to Alabama and got to pick up my things at Coon Rapids then was able to go through Clarksville TN for the rest of the truck stuff. Alabama to Chippewa Falls with a load of kitty food then loaded at Waseca del in Quakertown PA. Jenn had me booked for a load at Hall's that was behind schedule but I didn't have the hours to make it back on time so siitinb at the Bloomsbury NJ TA til Monday afternoon...should be 2 days layover, right? That load goes to Gaylord for Thurs but I'll drop wed and see what Matt O has after that. All part of it!

 

I never got layover for an impossible load but one thing I learned was it never hurts to ask. I've had loads with too much time on them... I also think the DM matters. Speaking of DMs... Jordan is a goddess. She absolutely rocks it as a DM. I'd come back for a long nose truck and Jordan. I'd go OTR in a heartbeat for the right truck / dedicated. Hard to find a company driver job that pays 70 cpm.
